Food Storage Must-Haves
When it comes to the kitchen, we like to think we know a thing or two! Truly, we've seen it all - with a family and hosting large gatherings with friends for the holidays, it can feel like food storage ideas and containers to keep food fresh are always on our minds.
So here's what we've learned:
1. Keep your produce fresh by storing them in an airtight container (for example, our Clear Plastic Containers!)
2. Don't store food near heat sources such as microwaves or ovens - these can cause foods to lose their nutritional value and become less tasty as well. We really love our Plan B Containers to store main entrees and desserts.
3. Think about how you're going to use your food before storing it - if you're planning on cooking up something new in the next week or so, keep some of those ingredients in the fridge until then so they don't go bad sitting at room temperature for longer than necessary! If you simply need to cover an item for the time-being, we love our Wrap n Snap Dispenser & Premium Plastic Wrap!
4. Consider all foods - like cheeses & left-over wine. Our Cheese Storage Bags are great for storing what's left after making your favorite Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board!
So tell us: do you typically have a lot of left-overs during the holidays?
