It's football season and even if you don’t love football, there’s nothing better than friends or just family connecting and eating together. Ina’s cookbooks are loaded with great, easy recipes that are perfect for that game day spread. From dips, melted cheeses, chilis, sandwiches to nachos, Ina has something for everyone. Here are a few of our favorites!
Who doesn't love guacamole? Ina (and I) are not big fans of cilantro so this recipe is perfect for me. Ina uses a knife to chop the avocados which makes a chunky dip. Do you prefer your guacamole smooth or chunky? Click above for the recipe or find it in The Barefoot Contessa Cookbook, page 50.
Baked Fontina
Similar to fondue but in a Cast Iron Skillet that’s ready in six minutes! Serve with crusty chunks of bread. Yum! Prepare this ahead of time and put in the oven right before game time. Find the recipe in Barefoot Contessa How Easy is That?, page 96.
Israeli Vegetable Salad
Don't forget about your veggie loving friends. This recipe has a ton of flavor that no one would turn down. Fresh vegetables and mint piled up on a base of creamy hummus. Great for vegetarians and can be a gluten free option without the pita. Serve it on the Flat Round Dish and everyone can help themselves. Find the recipe in Barefoot Contessa Cook Like a Pro, page 52.
Sliders
Small burgers that are juicy, cook really quickly and are fun to eat. Place them all on an oversized platter like the Buffet Tray. This wide tray provides enough room for the sliders and all the sides. Find the recipe in Barefoot Contessa How Easy is That?, page 141.
Chicken Caesar Club
Surprise your guests by serving this salad on a sandwich. A deconstructed Caesar salad with the croutons on the outside - delish! Find the recipe in Barefoot Contessa at Home, page 32.
A chili made with tomatoes and chicken that’s a bit lighter than your traditional chili and so delicious! This chili is a crowd pleaser and your house will smell amazing from all the onions and garlic cooking. Prep by cutting up all the veggies ahead of time. Find the recipe above or in Barefoot Contessa, Parties!, page 232.
Meatballs from Italian Wedding Soup Recipe
Sometimes you just want the meatballs. Prepare these delicious chicken meatballs mixed with Italian sausage that you can bake in the oven. Provide ketchup and toothpicks for dipping. Find the recipe in Barefoot Contessa Back to Basics, page 72.
Fresh Crab Nachos
These Nachos are a must from Ina Garten's latest cookbook, Modern Comfort Food. Layers of corns chips, fresh crab, cheddar cheese, pickled jalapeños, avocados and tomatoes. Find the recipe in Modern Comfort Food, page 44.

Mini Skillet Cookie
What's for dessert? A delicious cookie in a mini skillet. Prepare the dough ahead and put these in the oven right before serving. We used Ina’s Chocolate Chunk Cookie recipe. Add ice cream to serve! Barefoot Contessa, Parties!, page 235.
