How To Polish Hôtel Silver

We love Hôtel Silver, especially our Hotel Silver Wine Chiller! These products are made to last a lifetime – and we use our favorite pieces all the time. Many of the pieces we offer at Cassandra’s Kitchen are vintage finds from European hotels, restaurants, and ships. We often get asked about the best way to care for Hotel Silver and keep it shiny and looking good. Here’s our simple 'how-to' with Twinkle Silver Polish.

First off, Hotel Silver is dishwasher safe. Really, it is! We usually hand wash and dry it, but you can throw it in the dishwasher with no problem. The best thing we’ve found to keep it shiny (and to ward off future tarnish) is Twinkle Silver Polish. It is so easy to use – do not be intimidated – even your kids can do it and like we mentioned, using it helps keep away future tarnish.

Four simple steps:

1. Dampen the applicator sponge or a clean cloth with Twinkle Silver Polish
2. Rub the polish over the silver piece
3. Rinse with water
4. Dry/polish the silver with a clean dry cloth.

If necessary (for deep tarnish) you can repeat the process.
