September Container Sale

September is here. Back to school, falling leaves, pumpkin-spiced everything, and the Cassandra’s Kitchen Container Sale. Yahoo! We know it’s your favorite part of the season, ha. Joking aside, our Plastic Containers are continually a customer favorite and best-seller. Ina Garten made them famous using them to freeze her legendary Chicken Stock (if you haven’t made it yet, do it and freeze some to have for the rest of the season!). Over the years we have found so many uses for these BPA Free containers that we wanted to share a few and spread the love.

Like Ina, our #1 use of the containers is storing frozen or refrigerated food and leftovers. Yes we used them for chicken stock, but we also use them for Chocolate Gelato, dips, grated cheese, and our dinner leftovers! In the smaller 8oz or 16oz containers, we can portion out serving sizes so the kids can just go into the fridge, grab a container, dump the pasta (or chicken & rice or mac & cheese) in a bowl and heat it right up. It’s a great time-saver. They’re also ideal for fruit and veggie snacks – keep the containers full of the ‘good for you stuff’ so it’s easily on hand when hunger strikes. (FYI, the containers are made of clear FDA compliant polypropylene and polyethylene that is microwavable and can withstand temperatures from 0 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.)

Since they’re airtight, we’ve also found them extremely useful for storing non-perishables like nuts, flour, sugar, tea bags, even candy! The three sizes (8, 16, & 32oz) all share the same size lid, which makes them easily stackable – and they’re clear which makes them very helpful when organizing your cabinets or pantry. Trent from @storeboughtisfine gave us a glimpse into how he uses them to keep his NYC kitchen neat, orderly, and easily accessible. This is a big deal for Trent because he does A LOT of cooking - he’s working his way through ALL of Ina Garten’s recipes. He’s a few years in and he’s recently completed his 800th recipe (if you don’t follow him yet – do it IMMEDIATELY).

In our Cassandra’s Kitchen office we even use them for clips, pens, and push pins (we are very fancy). Works like a charm. But the best part about these Plastic Containers (and all of our food containers) is that they are on sale for 20% Off THIS WEEKEND (September 21st-23rd). Be sure to join our email list to get all of our latest product updates and receive all of our sale details and promo codes including the Container Sale.

Happy cooking and happy shopping!

Wow! This container comes in different sizes which makes it apt for storing different food stuffs. This will be amazing when used in dishing out creamy foods too.
