In old European restaurants, the HÔTEL Silver Spreader might have been used when eating an elegant fish course as it was customary to change out the silver when a fish course was served. These days, we find that this gorgeous vintage piece is perfect to use with soft cheeses or patés. A cheese plate never looked so good! Each knife has a beautiful hollow handle and a heavy curved blade.
Like the other pieces in the collection, the HÔTEL Silver Spreader is designed for everyday use. A vintage item originally made for deluxe European hotels, steamship lines, and fine restaurants, each HÔTEL Silver Spreader is triple-plated in pure silver.

These spreaders are just fabulous!! Much better than expected in every way. They are larger, wider, heavier than typical all silver ones; with a wider blade to handle thicker cheeses. These are easy to handle and look amazing. I’ll have to order another as they have multiple use possibilities.
