This Round Double Mesh Strainer/Sifter is used for sifting, draining, straining, and sieving foods and ingredients before cooking and baking. Made from 18/8 stainless steel with a double mesh and helper handle design for added stability. The Double Mesh Food Strainer will not retain tastes or odors and impart flavors on foods.

Sits securely on pots and pans, mixing bowls and other food preparation containers to keep both hands free for other tasks, like measuring and pouring. Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. Hangs for convenient storage. Available in a 4 inch and a 7-inch basket size.

Ina Garten, The Barefoot Contessa, uses the 7-inch size to sift dry ingredients and for her Tzatziki recipe. She uses the 4-inch size to strain seeds when squeezing citrus.

Standard Shipping
Orders placed by 10am ET will be processed and shipped within 48 hours of the order date, excluding holidays. Orders received after 10am ET will be logged as received the next business day and processed within 48 hours of that order date.
Items ordered together may be shipped separately. Please allow 5-10 days to receive your order, depending on your location. We will ship backordered items as soon as they become available, at no extra shipping cost. All shipping and handling fees are based on the size and weight of your purchased items. If special delivery instructions are necessary, such as delivery to a back door, please provide this information to our customer service team when placing your order, so that your package can be delivered successfully.

Express and 2-Day Shipping
Orders must be received by 10am, ET for next day delivery. Backordered items on an express order will be shipped via standard shipping. Orders placed after 10am on Thursday will ship on the following Monday. Orders cannot be express shipped to APO-FPO addresses, PO boxes, and cannot be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii or international destinations. 

 International Shipping
For all orders shipping outside of the US the ship-to recipient will be responsible for any taxes or customs duties incurred. Unfortunately, we are unable to mark merchandise as “gift” or “no commercial value”. Please note Cassandra’s Kitchen is unable to estimate the total amount of taxes or duties that may be due at time of delivery. For questions regarding customs fees we suggest contacting your local government. All international orders are considered final sale once shipped and are therefore ineligible for refund or exchange.

Returns for gifts will be refunded in the form of a Merchandise Credit for the purchased amount, while returns with an original receipt will be refunded in the original form of payment.

Please note that returned items must be in new condition.

We can send a label for returns and deduct the cost of shipping off of their return.

Refunds for unused items returned within 30 days of the purchase date will be credited in the same form as the original payment type. The original shipping and handling charges are not refundable. 

To return your package please pack your items in the original packaging. Many of our items are fragile so please be mindful of breakable items and wrap them carefully in the bubble wrap provided. Mail your package in a prepaid, insured, traceable method to the address below within 30 days of receipt.
