We are excited to partner with SheKnows.com for our first ever Virtual Shopping Event - Barefoot For The Holidays. Since we can’t gather as usual this holiday season, we’re going live to share our ideas for toasting your loved ones, sharing some food, and sending heartfelt gifts from the comfort of your own home.
Below is a recap of the featured recipes and products. We had so much fun, we are so thankful to the women of SheKnows for partnering with us and we are happy you could be there.
We were so excited to get our favorite HÔTEL Silver Footed Bowls back in stock - just in time for holiday entertaining. We love our HÔTEL Silver pieces - they're all beautiful and they really do make any occasion feel special. So, we took a page from Ina Garten's book (Cook Like A Pro) and brightened up our holiday tables with some silver sparkle! We hope this post sparks some inspiration for your own holiday entertaining.
We’re heading into prime party season and who doesn’t love to celebrate with a holiday cocktail (or mocktail)!! We prepared and tested a few festive drinks that are sure to add a little flair to your holiday gatherings - Ina Garten’s Raspberry Royale and Limoncello Vodka Collins, and a very special Christmas Cranberry Julep. Cheers!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year…cookie baking time! I love baking for the holidays, it just gets me in the giving spirit. This year I invited a few friends (including my baking hero George Waldron) to come over and decorate cookies. We snacked on some appetizers from Ina Garten’s new cookbook and learned some simple, easy tips to decorate cookies like a pro!
In 2017 I made a little deal with myself, I wanted to make all of my family’s birthday cakes (thanks, Ina Garten and Barefoot Contessa for the inspiration). I enjoy baking with my kids and thought that letting them help with their own cakes would create some great memories and foster their love for cooking and baking. The birthday cakes weren’t perfect works of art, but they were prepared with love - so they tasted even better!
The famous Ina Garten Flag Cake. I would bet that if you’ve lived in America for any amount of time or even happened to visit in the summer months, you’ve seen some version of the Flag Cake. This time of year, the fruity stars and stripes are all over checkout aisle magazine covers and cooking shows. It’s so festive and fun - even Taylor Swift and her famous friends are fans of Ina’s Flag Cake.
Kids are almost done with school, Father’s Day is this weekend and it’s finally starting to feel like summertime in NY. I thought it would be a good time to share one of our favorite summer drinks – courtesy of Ina Garten and my husband Brad - Jalapeño Margaritas. Brad loves spicy food. Loves it. So years ago, when I first got my hands on Ina’s Make It Ahead cookbook, I was thrilled to find her Jalapeño Margaritas recipe...
During this time of year we spend a lot of time entertaining or preparing food to take with us to parties or get-togethers. Our new Pillivuyt Round Tart Dish has been getting a lot of holiday love. Pillivuty pieces are known for their even heat conduction, versatility, and durability. In Cooking For Jeffrey, Ina Garten uses it to make Prune Armagnac Clafouti. Whether breakfast, brunch, dinner or just desserts, we think this dish will be an all-star in the kitchen.
