Can say enough positives about this grinder. Works flawlessly. I use it to grind a coarse Montreal steak seasoning into a more fine grain. Releases the flavors perfectly.

I have been using these since the 80’s . In fact I still have mine from the 80’s. They are so good at the stove when you need fresh ground pepper or salt for a recipe because you have the option of grinding an amount that falls in the attached dish. Or simply at the dinner table. Great price and I know they will last. I give them as gifts. As long as I can find them, I will use them.

I love this pepper mill! Because I only use freshly ground pepper, this is such a solution for when you are cooking and need "1 tsp" or whatever of ground pepper. If you are using a tradition grinder, like you would have at the table, you have to crank the pepper into a small bowl till you get the desired amount, or just "guess" and crank directly into the pot. This allows you to easily grind a large amount of pepper, and then measure it out of the receptacle below! Love it!
