Very tasty and versatile!

I have been using this in so many ways! It is great to serve on toasted baguette slices with a little fresh basil, and mozzarella then finished off with a little drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and cracked pepper and a pinch of sea salt. (A less messy and attractive rif on Bruschetta). It’s also great on sandwiches. I’ve used this in paninis and on cold sandwiches and it’s got enough sweet, spicy and saltiness that just a thin smear is all that’s needed. I also have some mayonnaise and a bit of white wine vinegar and garlic to the confit and made a zippy interesting salad dressing with it. It’s just overall become a great condiment to have on hand. This would also be good I think on a “dressed up” BLT. For sure it will be great on burgers with some melted Gruyère on a toasted brioche bun with caramelized onions this summer!

Tomato Conserve Has Become a Staple

I can’t believe how often I reach for this. I’ve added it to so many dishes, you just need a small amount and it adds another layer of flavor. We made appetizers with cream cheese on crackers and a dot of tomato conserve and they were scooped up in the blink of an eye. I plan to keep a jar on hand.

Delicious!

I absolutely love this product. I use it in my chili and meatloaf, as well as other tomato based recipes. It adds another layer of flavor to any dish.
